Rosa Leon-Esposito Social Studies and Dual Language Teacher.
This is my third year as a teacher at Boltz, bit the 40th as a teacher. I am originally from Venezuela, in the northern part of South America. I graduated from three different Universities in Venezuela and United States with an undergrad in Social Studies. I have earned a Masters Degree in Spanish as a Second Language, in World History and in Business. I have been to different countries as a Spanish and History teacher, which has opened me up to various cultures, so I love to say that I am universal.
In my free time I love traveling, walking, nature, coffee, music and a good conversation. I have a family that keeps growing and inspires me to be better, my husband Matt, two married girls, one grandson and two boys...and of course our two dogs.

At Boltz Middle School, our Dual Language Program provides students in grades 6, 7, and 8 with a unique opportunity to continue developing bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural competency. Students enrolled in the program take two core classes entirely in Spanish each year:
- SLA/ELA Immersion Class (Spanish Language Arts/English Language Arts) – Students strengthen their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills through a deep study of literature and language in both Spanish and English.
- Humanities in Spanish – Students explore history, culture, and civic concepts while engaging in critical thinking and academic discourse in Spanish.
The remainder of the school day is taught in English, giving students a balanced academic experience across languages.
